A battery test rig in a fire resistant container with temperature chamber is located on the campus Charlottenburg to determine the characteristics of batteries. Thereby the charging/discharging behaviour of batteries at different temperatures can be examined.

• Temperature range: -45 °C (-49 °F) to 180 °C (356 °F)
